IAS Wrapper - XML/Empty Vast -Troubleshooting

IAS Auto-Tagging adds a wrapper to the tags. 

If the publisher cannot see renditions in the XML or sees an empty vast, they will need to follow the steps below to see the metadata:

How to view the media files within the VAST XML:

If your QA process requires you to check for the media files within the VAST XML, then you will need to follow the steps below:

  1. Open the VAST URL in a browser.
  2. Look within the <AdParameters> section. Search for VASTAdTagURI, which will appear twice, and you will see a URL. Specifically, it starts after VASTAdTagURI><![CDATA[ and ends before ]]></VASTAdTagURI.  See screenshot below for reference:


Copy that and put it in your browser. 
You'll now see the media files, example below:
