Why don't we measure social via the ad server
Crossmedia's policy is not traffic social media placements through the ad server.
We do this because:
1.) There is a lack of measurement capabilities
2.) There is a significant cost to the client, without much benefit
3.) the process and turnaround times would diminish our ability to quickly get creative live
If a client wants to investigate further tracking social within CM360, the media team should reach out to Nickki to discuss, however the XM recommendation is no application/or tracking of social media placements through Campaign Manager.
