Updating your web browsers (Chrome and Firefox).

Updating your web browsers not only provides stronger security, but better performance, website compatibility, and new features. Below we will see how to update Google Chrome and Firefox.

Updating Google Chrome

1. Open your Chrome app and copy and paste this url in your address bar: chrome://settings/help

2. Install the latest version of Chrome and press Relaunch to quit and reopen your Chrome app.


Your Google Chrome app should now be up-to-date.

Updating Firefox

1. Open your Firefox app. In the menu bar, open the Firefox menu and choose About Firefox. The About Firefox window will open.



2. Firefox will check for updates automatically. If an update is available, it will be downloaded.



3. When the download is complete, click Restart to Update Firefox. Your Firefox should now be up-to-date.
