Clear Cache for Microsoft Teams
Clearing the cache for Microsoft Teams can quickly and effectively resolve common issues, like app slowness, login problems, or glitches with loading messages and files. Removing temporary files refreshes the app and often eliminates any corrupt data causing these problems. It's a simple step that can save time and help get Teams running smoothly again.
- Log out of Teams by selecting your profile picture → Sign out and quit the application
- Open a new Finder window
- In the menu bar, select Go → Go to Folder...
- Copy and paste the following locations and delete everything within these two locations (should contain Library and Data folders, respectively)
~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams
~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2
Once deleted, relaunch Teams and sign in with Microsoft credentials.
