Enable MFA on your AWS account
To configure MFA on your AWS account, open Authenticator app on your phone and the follow the steps below.
1. Sign into the AWS console.
2. Click your username on the top-right side of the console -> Security credentials.
3. Scroll down until you see Multi-factor authentication (MFA) -> click Assign MFA device.
4. Enter the device's name (whatever you want to call it) -> select the Authenticator app option and press Next.
5. Scan the QR code with your MFA app -> enter two consecutive codes -> press Add MFA.
