Difference between add, pause and swap when requesting creative updates
USE THE NOTES COLUMN ON YOUR TRAFFICKING WORKBOOKS TO COMMUNICATE THIS TO ADOPS.
You must provide context and clear direction. AdOps will only complete the request as written, so be clear!
- Add means to add new assets to the currently assigned creatives.
- When you’re asking for new creatives to be added to a placement, please include the new creatives on your tsheet and use the notes column on the tsheet to indicate that these assets are to be added to the existing assignment.
- Please also note if the assignments should rotate evenly or if they should have custom rotations; if so what.
- Pause means to temporarily stop a creative from running.
- Only 3p served
- one creative must be running on the ad or your default ads will run.
- 1x1s do not get paused. The supplier must pause those on their end. AdOps will not pause those.
- Pausing means creative will be used again in the campaign.
- Swap is a combination of add and pause, and means to remove what is assigned and to replace it with something else.
- When requesting a swap - if you are not pausing everything currently assigned to the placement - you must note the specific creative name(s) that will no longer be in use in the notes column on the trafficking workbook.
- Rotate in should not used in your request vocabulary. Rotate describes an ad behavior, not a trafficking behavior.
- Unassigned is when an asset should be untrafficked/removed from usage for the rest of the campaign, never to be used again.
